This work definitely shows a lot of effort. The animation and graphics were definitely done very well.
The story, however, could definitely be improved upon. The whole thing is just flat and cliche, sorry to say. There was just not that much in the way of the unexpected- at times I felt like I was watching a bad spoof of Empire Strikes Back. None of the characters are inetersting or likable, either.

I don't say these things to hurt you, I think you have talent, but only say this because I think this series is overrated. :)

These cartoons may look crude, but they're very well written, and the graphics work perfectly to convey the characters wide range of emotions. Excellent stuff. Too bad you've seemed to retired. This is going on my favorite animations list. This whole series is excellent.

Can't wait for full version either. I don't think I've seen anything like this in flash, which is why I like it, but I think you need to add a lot mnore to it to make it fun. As it is, it's kinda dull after the novelty wears off.

Perhaps add in celebrities, but instead of having galss plates have little animations. For example, you could have Richard Simmons dancing, Sonic running at hyper speed, Osama hiding, etc. And then make it so that each gets a different point value. Maybe Osama might be harder to hit and is hiding so he gets more points- and some characters like Sonic subtract points. Also, maybe some of the characters attack you and after you reach so many points you move onto the next level.level. Just a few ideas. There are places to go with this.

I haven't seen many shooters like this in flash, either. I never really liked games like this, because they tend to, towards the ends get really hard and you have to play them a million times to memorize how to move your ship. But I can tell you spent a lot of time on this. It's not your fault, but I keep dying because sometimes it doesn't recognize when I press the arrows. :(

Thank you very much for making this. Being an artist myself, I definietely understand what you feel. I often wonder exactly WHY I am doing any art at all. One of the best flashes I've seen in quite some time. I only wish there was more stuff like this on Newgrounds.
